Black ANC government sets deadline for taking white-owned farms
The black controlled South African government has set March 2019 as the deadline for its much-criticized land expropriations to begin. The country’s National Assembly approved a proposal to change the constitution to make the so-called reforms legal in a vote of 183 to 77. This allows the ANC government to take land from white farmers without giving any kind of compensation. Farm production will then go down.
